So I wanted to do it first for this.

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease the bottoms of muffin cups in a 12-cup pan.
2. In a small bowl, cover butter or margarine with waxed paper and microwave on high for 30-45 seconds( or until melted ). Let the margarine cool 5 minutes.
3. Crack the eggs into a medium bowl, and then add the butter and milk. Beat mixture with a fork until mixed well.
4. In a seperate, medium bowl, mix together all the '' dry'' ingredients: the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir until mixed
5. Add the '' wet'' ingredients to the '' dry'' ingredients. Stir just until the flour is wet. The batter will be lumpy.
6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
7. Spoon the batter into each muffin cup until it is about 2/3 full.
8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Carefully remove muffins from the pan as soon as you take them out of the oven, so they won't get soggy. Cool muffins on a wire rack.

Peanut Butter Banana Muffins

Ingredients

1 C. All purpose flour
3/4 C. So I asked my mom what I could make. She said she had some bananas that I could use to make some Peanut Butter Banana Muffins. Here is how you make them.

Heat your oven to 375 degrees f. You can either grease12 medium muffin cups or line them with paper baking cups. I put paper baking cups in and then greased the cups. Then you combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and baking powder. Then whisk together milk, peanut butter, banana, egg, oil, and vanilla. You then add that mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing just until moistioned. Fill prepared muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake 16-18 minutes. combine the remaining ingredients which are 1/4 c. of all-purpose flour, 2 tbsp. butter[ melted] and 2tbsp. of brown sugar. Sprinkle evenly over the top.

Scotcharoos

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 cup karo syrup
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups rice krispies
1 package chocolate chips
1 package butterscotch bits

I had to go to this family reunion thing on my dads side of the family so I decided to make something for the party.

Mix sugar and Karo together and bring to a boil. We decided to bake all day. We were pretending that we were chefs on a telivision show. First we didnt know what to bake. We made that pudding cookies recipe. Then we made white sugar cookies. THen we decided to make this. We got the idea from her grandma. She made it for her on her birthday. Thankyou Anna's grandma. First what you are going to do is make your cake mix. { follow the directions on the box] Then when you get done mixing your cake mix you are going to pour your can of coke into your cake mix. Then bake in the oven for15 or more min. When your done baking it you could put some frosting on it, powdered sugar, or just eat it plain. ENJOY

special thanks to Anna[my friend] and her grandma.

Pudding Cookies

INGREDIENTS

2 sticks of butter

2 eggs

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

3/4 cups brown sugar

1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 big box big instant vanilla pudding

2 1/4 cups flour

1 bag of milk chocolate or baking M&M's

I had a friend over the other day and we both knew we wanted to cook so we got our aprons on and washed our hands. We got to looking in there and we found this recipe. Here's how you make them. First mix the brown and white sugar in with the melted butter. Then you want to add eggs and stir. Next add flour, baking soda, and vanilla. Then you want to stir. Last you want to add your dry pudding and your m&m's or chocolate. Pour it on the dry mix and mix it up real good.

Molasses Cookies

Ingredients
4 c. all purpose flour
1/2 t. salt
2 t. ground ginger
1 1/4 t. ground cloves
1 1/4 t. cinnamon
1 stick ( 1/2 a cup) unsalted butter,softened
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
3 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. unsulfured molasses
2 large eggs

I wanted to make something for Christmas. I usually make something with my mom and my sister but I thought since I have to do this blog why not try and do it on my own. Here is how you make molasses cookies.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees f. and lightly grease 2 large baking sheets. In a large mixing bowl whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, ginger, cloves, and cinnamon. In another large mixing bowl with an electric mixer beat together butter, shortening, and 3 cups sugar until light and fluffy and beat in molasses. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture and combine well. In a small shallow bowl put remaining 1/2 cup sugar. Form dough into 2-inch balls and roll in sugar. On baking sheets arrange balls about 4 inches apart and flatten slightly with bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Bake cookies in batches in middle if the oven 15 minutes, or until puffed and golden. ( Cookies should be soft.) Transfer cookies with a metal spatula to racks to cool. Makes about 25 cookies.

Sloppy Joes

INGREDIENTS

2 pounds ground beef
2/3 cups brown sugar
2 tablespoons workshire sauce
1 tablespoon mustard
2 cups ketchup

In a pan mix together ground beef , mustard, ketchup, and workishire sauce. I am 10 years old and I am doing a blog for 4-H. I am going to tell you some recipe's that I either made by myself or with my parents helping me in between.
I am going to give you the ingredients first and then I am going to tell you how to make it.
I LOVE sports. I am in dance classes in Charles City Iowa. I am in soccer and me and play all of the other sports together. I also am pretty good at singing. At the 4-H fair I would have gone to state for singing a solo at the fair but I couldn't go because it was my first year. I have sang in 3 nursing homes and I have sang a wedding. In December of 2005 I am going to sing at another wedding with my sister. I am really excited and I hope you enjoy the rest of it.
